I will try to be as objective as possible. This has to be one of the most amazing rags to riches stories ever. A Persian Jew who came to England when he was 18 with nothing. He couldn't speak English. He was homeless; living outdoors under cinema steps. He was even peed on by a drunk while he was sleeping. He suffered and still suffers from terrible clinical depression for which he had electric shock treatment. Now he sits in the House of Lords. He is a friend of kings; presidents; and prime ministers. Thoroughly inspiring. I would recommend this book for every aspiring and actual entrepreneur. It should be on every business school's must read list. One more thing. In our very large extended family; when there's a problem; the first words that anyone says are "Call Davoud." Why? Because we know he can help and he does help. He is always helping people. He never says no. Thank you Davoud.I recommend this book to everyone.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. excellent book. what a life and a must read ...By Music Loverexcellent book. what a life and a must read for anyone who drives to do great things from any background but certainly from a poor and traumatic upbringing.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
