THE summary work on slavery in KentuckyBy MilamThe author does a superb job in assembling and presenting numerous disparate resources on this hard-to-research topic. The magnitude of this contribution to the study of slavery in Kentucky cannot be overstated. The only downside to this work is that there is so much information (which is also a good thing) that it's often hard to keep track of who's who in the numerous anecdotal stories provided. I highly recommend this work to anyone interested in exploring a fair and balanced perspective of slavery in the Bluegrass State.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Excellent narrative.
