Pages are missing; many of the scanned images are reduced in size to the point of being illegible. I bought this with several other books for a theology class and just now opened it for use so it's beyond the time frame to return to . My fault for not looking beyond the cover when it first arrived. Bottom line this is a worthless copy and a waste of your time and money. I've since found a quality used volume at less than half the cost.BUYER BEWARE!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Glad it's still availableBy sbh1950Probably the single best resource book on church history. Lots of information; delivered honestly and with enough background to make it all interesting and useful. There's a lot of similar stuff out there; but I have never encountered anything that even comes close. Most other books deliver more of the author's personal agenda(s) than useful information. This was the book I used in seminary; and remains the book I turn to for "just the facts; ma'am."
