audiobook AP® European History Crash Course; 2nd Ed.; Book + Online (Advanced Placement (AP) Crash Course) by Larry Krieger; Patti Harrold in History

Description

Religion and Politics in America's Borderlands brings together leading academic specialists on immigration and the borderlands; as well as nationally recognized grassroots activists; who reflect on their varied experiences of living; working; and teaching on the US-Mexico border and in the borderlands. These authors demonstrate the groundbreaking claim that the borderlands are not only a location to think about religiously; but they’re also a place that reshapes religious thinking. In this pioneering book; scholars and activists engage with Scripture; theology; history; church practices; and personal experiences to offer in-depth analyses of how the borderlands confront conventional interpretations of Christianity.

Review
10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. great to keep in your backpack for quick unit reviewsBy Jay HarmonCrash Course AP European History is exactly what it claims to be: a brief; clear review of AP European History for students who waited til the "last minute" (i.e.; a few weeks) to study for the exam. Folks complaining that it doesn't have 2 full practice exams haven't paid attention to the description of the book--it doesn't claim to Do It All. It's much smaller than the full size study guides on purpose; great to keep in your backpack for quick unit reviews. I've taught AP Euro over 20 years and always recommend it to my students.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. I Would Recommend Another Review Book For Self StudyBy Nathan PowellFor quick and concise review close to test day this is a great book. However; if self studying i would recommend another review as this doesn't go as in depth as needed.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Everything you need to knowBy CustomerThis book saved me for the European History exam. Unlike the Princeton Review and Barron's book; it only contains the necessary information needed for the AP test; which makes it perfect for cramming. Only warning is that it is very information dense; because everything on it has a purpose and is necessary to know for the AP test; but it is a relatively small book.
