The persistent memory of a horrible death; that reached across time and space; and caused a 22 year old American girl to seek past-life therapy; revealed the dramatic story of a Japanese man who was killed in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. There have been many stories of pain; death and destruction told by survivors of the Hiroshima bombing. This is the eyewitness account of one who did not survive! This case revealed startling information about the Japanese side of the war. Research into the bombing also revealed terrible truths that the public was not aware of at the time of this dramatic ending of World War II.

Another home run for Adam Wilder. There are a number of books and publications out there by artists like Adam (as well as Rinaldi; Mig Jiminez etc.) that are setting the new standard for model building books and magazines. The photography is superb; some of the finest I've ever seen; very carefully put together and logically laid out. The book is a motivational how to guide that features tools and techniques both reviews of the old ones and some very excellent new ones.PROSWell illustratedWell written text that accompanies the photosGood Layout with a sensible IndexRecommends use of his own and other people's products; paints and toolsPrinted on a semi-gloss stock that doesn't have a lot of glare but will resist yellowing; an important thing when considering the importance of color in the instructionsCONSAs with most paperback books it's a little fragile0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The encyclopedia of military vehicle modellingBy D. G. DevinIf you haven't built a model kit for a few decades; you might want to do some research into the technical and artistic advances in model kit building that have occurred in recent years. Plastic model kits are more detailed and more accurate than ever before; and there are accessory parts available for many kits to take the level of detail to astonishing levels. New methods of construction and painting have brought amazing realism that just wasn't available back when some of us built models several decades ago. If you build models of military vehicles; I can't think of a better way to get up to speed on all these newer techniques than Adam Wilder's two books on building model vehicles. These books cover an amazing range of subjects; and explain in fine detail with hundreds of clear color photos how to achieve the desired effects. Photographing miniatures isn't easy; but the photos in these books are outstanding. There doesn't seem to be anything to do with modelling such vehicles that Wilder doesn't describe; and I especially like how he uses photos of real vehicles to show how his techniques so closely mimic the real thing. Because these books are recent publications (2015) the brands and specific products he mentions are available to today's model builders. Note that these are not glorified magazines; these volumes are well over 200 pages and are clearly a labor of love for Wilder who worked on these books for over eight years. Whether you're a veteran modeler or a beginner; these books are an invaluable reference work and I can't recommend them too highly. As someone who has recently returned to model building (lately there has been a steady stream of model-related packages from to my home); I can't wait to try some of these techniques on the kits I'm building.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A must haveBy Fla PhotographerIt has been a very long time since I worked with armor models. Wow; have things changed. The weathering and minuscule detail was not even a dream in those days. I have recently purchased a number of reference books and this one will certainly become a favorite. After viewing several YouTube seminars I was looking for a book that would pull some of these techniques together. Adam Wilder has not only accomplished this but the photography is exceptional. The instructions take you by the hand and opens up a new world of model detailing.Pros: Very well written. Does not recommend products based upon putting money in his pocket. Photography is as good or better than any instructional book I have seen.Cons: Having the techniques demonstrated does not automatically enable you to do the same. LOL!
