Great Artist; Tragic Life...By Don Kidwell' "Gaye himself shaped Motown's signature sound with hits like "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." ' not to mention his famous duets including numbers like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" as well as "Ain't Nothin' Like The Real Thing." To have his life ended by his own father is a true tragedy (too many of these vocal artists lived all too brief of lives). I did enjoy learning something of this individual in this brief biography and do recommend giving his music a listen as it is some great stuff!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
