Though often arrested or banished from their home state of Missouri; many gave false oaths in order to return to their tasks. There are hundreds of great books out there that will focus on specific facets of this incredible story. This book gives a competent exploration of them all; which encourages the reader to dig deeper on the parts that interested them in future reading. If you are going to read one book on the American Revolution read this one.
