1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. this would not be a good choice as it could easily muddy the waters ...By CustomerAs an intro to this topic; or even to those only somewhat familiar with ZS this topic; this would not be a good choice as it could easily muddy the waters or completely turn off a newbie. However; if you already have a solid understanding of the topic; it can act as a strangely concocted extremely fast skeletal summary of sorts with it's most redeeming quality being quite a few good "new" pictures relating to the story. Be forewarned of shocking glaring bad spelling; run on repeat sentences broken paragraphing all over the place. I purchased this book with the idea that ZS in some way blessed the effort; and that it would therefore be aligned with ZS standards. Not so. After just a section or two; it became clear this idea was fantasy on my part. While I can imagine ZS appreciating the interest desire of the author here; I cannot imagine ZS endorsing this as a continuation of or an adjunct to his work. Bottom line; I'm not returning the book now that I know what to expect; I might even try another effort of this author to give it another whirl in the future.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. MYTHOLOGY IS REALLY HISTORY RETOLD AND RETOLD.By Dorothy K Morris; Author of the Mockingbird Hill SeriesConcise review of the work of Sitchin. Could use some more editing; however; the meat of the book is right on with the new theories of how we got to be and the history of the earth based on new translations of the old Sumerian texts. I remember reading them when I was in my 20s at college. I found them fascinating then and even moreso now that we know so much more about technology; aeronautics; geology; astronomy; genetics; etc. It is high time that we process the new knowledge and realize that so much of our animosity has been set in motion by these facts of our history. I first recommend that anyone curious about this subject should real all of Z. Sitchin's work; and then read this as a great little review book. I intend to pursue further reading of the authors and researchers and scholars he mentions in this book.
