DOC Artifacts of the Battle of Little Big Horn: Custer; the 7th Cavalry the Lakota and Cheyenne Warriors by Will Hutchison in History

Description

This text examines the concept of freedom in the context of American labour history. Nine essays develop themes in this history which show that liberty of contract and inalienable rights form two contradictory traditions concerning freedom.

Outstanding book that fills a key gap when studying the Llittle Big HornBy The Giant SkunkOutstanding book for any students of the Battle of the Little Big Horn. This battle has always been a huge interest of mine and while there and numerous excellent volumes of text regarding the battle; this is first one I have ever seen with such detailed; well done photographs of relics associated with the battle and the personal items belonging to many major participants. Truly a new look. Highly recommended.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Title a little misleadingBy Robert V. RathburnI was a little disappointed in this book thinking it would contain artifacts actually recovered from the battlefield. Fully half of the items contained in this volume are "Custer era" or later equipment "similar" to what was in use at the time of the battle. That being said; the artifacts are fully explained and well photographed. Last criticism; printed in China. A $50.00 book printed in China?
