Former Sen. Howard Baker aptly descibes the book in his Foreword:"The Greatest Speech; Ever was written to be more than a specialized monograph about the Gettysburg Address. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Uganda religious fanaticsBy LakocRobert Bwire's "Ashes of Faith" is very much like his previous book "Bugs in armor". It incisively describes a series of mass deaths in Uganda. When reports of the mass deaths in Uganda first appeared in local media; they were explained away as the work of some religious fanatics. Bwire's engaging book exposes some details about the mass deaths that seem to confirm some original local suspicions that the deaths were mass murders which were being covered up. I found the book easy reading; engaging and show high quality of investigative journalism. But I also found the described events very disturbing. I am curious what you would say after reading it! It was very much worth my time and money! It is a must read especially for those with love for and who care about Africa and Uganda in particular.
