ThompsonThis is a brief but good overview of the history of the B-17; concentrating on it's role in Europe during WWII. It includes many excellent pictures of the aircraft both in the air and on the ground; most of which were lost in combat. It helps you to realize that 4;754 B-17 s were destroyed during the air war in Europe including accidents.
