I was able to identify many of my badges; the illustrations are in black white which is fine with me since many of the original badges did not have colours on them. This book is a perfect fit for any military collector it is small enough to hold in one hand (5 3/4 x 8 3/4) while attempting to identify your insignia. I have had this book for over 20 years still am utilizing this book for my research. Look forward to locate other books of this caliber to add to my library.
