A great overview of our responsibility to combat racismBy Andrew CoffmanI really appreciated this book; a look at racism and the various attempts to "solve" the problem; from a Christian perspective. The author details why each 'solution' is incomplete; at at some times; full of fault itself. I found the initial chapters a bit academic and dry; but I understood the need to define each component before diving deeper into the issue. From this point the book moves on and hits its stride; delving into Jesus' guidance into the issue of race; personal stories; and more. I'm glad I read this book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great primer as an entry point for discussionBy Scott S.Great primer as an entry point for discussion. While I was looking for something a little more detailed with a deeper conversation; this text does best where it talks at you the least. It is a great conversation starter and something that should whet the appetite of the reader to investigate further and think more deeply.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
