This should be curriculum in every school!By Jordan RodriguezSurprisingly I learned a lotta history and facts I didn't know about Islam with this little book. I was just expecting a bias criticism; but the guy is pretty objective. He clearly says that no religion is free from guilt and in many occasions he even praises the cultural contributions of Islam and even praised the figure of Saladim for instance. He does challenge however the writings on the Quran specially on the treatment of unbelievers and how history itself had proven the real context of these verses even though Muslims today keep saying we don't understand the context.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Aurelius offers insight to the religion that is so much in the news today and gives many sources that he shows that back up his statements. War on Terror; or War on Islam?By Ed HeskettWhen we recognized the "War on Terrorism" and sent troops to seek out those that endangered our nation; many "moderate" Muslims claimed we were declaring war on Islam. Our leaders publicly denied this. Once you read this book; you will understand that the "moderate" Muslims were just voicing the natural opinion of anyone familiar with the tenants and requirements of the Islamic Faith. This book shows that "moderate" Muslims are simply serving Allah in a non-militant capacity. They can not be proper Muslims and actually object to or try to stop the militants. Very disturbing; but a must read for anyone who wants to understand what it will take to win the war on Terror. The Author thinks we will lose.
