Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe 1933-45: A Reference Source

PDF Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe 1933-45: A Reference Source by Henry Zeng in History

Description

Trading Territories is a beautifully illustrated book that offers a new account of the status of maps and geographical knowledge in the early modern world. Focusing on how early European geographers mapped the territories of the Old World—Africa and Southeast Asia—Jerry Brotton contends that the historical preoccupation with Columbus’s “discovery” of the New World in 1492 has tended to obscure the importance of the mapping of territories that have been defined as “eastern.”

Please note that the Kampfgeschwader's are examined in numerical order; thus the higher numbered pre-war KG's are in Volume 2! I am sure the numbering system at that time reflected German desires to convince the World that the Luftwaffe was bigger than it actually was. I know that it has confused some readers. That said; this is a useful book for finding out which KG's were stationed where and when they reformed; their equipment; leaders; etc. If you have the ground attack volume by the same authors; you will notice right away that there is far less operational detail; such as aircraft losses; missions; etc.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Fantastic book.By Alte AdlerI can't imagine the time and effort the author has put into this book; a labor of love. I didn't expect all the unpublished photos included in the book. Don't miss if you're a Luftwaffe fan.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy GustavoExcellent book. It met my expectations. Recommend !!
