It's just not worth much time or effort to read about these people.. The author writes about a lamentable fact that many Southern people are of the ridiculous belief that the South should have won. They sometimes are the lunatic fringe and sometimes just regular idiots. As a Southern person; I certainly have met some. Thankfully; they are dying out.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Does the "old south" still exist? Yes it does.By debrabl333Excellent book about southern people who seem to be stuck in 1863. Colorful and very interesting. Recommended for all ages.
