An Interesting Look at the Domestic Life of the Russian NobilityBy Melissa AliceAnyone interested in Russian History could benefit from Labzina's account. While most books dealing with Russian History focus on purely political and historical facts; this book gives an inside look at the domestic life of the nobility; as well as what life was like for a woman living in Russia during this time period. It is a little slow and repetitive at times; but still worth reading.
