The lot where the house was sheared from the plane's belly before it pancaked into three homes across the street is still empty. Nothing was built sense. The tail was on the first page of the Sun Times next to a picture of our beloved Michelle Clark. The tail of the airplane with a fireman standing on it amid smoke. A lot of black smoke and streams of water. It was a friday. A cold and foggy Chicago on December 8th of 72.This book documents a personal experience. My family lost a dear friend on that flight Dorothy Hunt was on. She was a reporter in first class where most of the victims were including Mrs. Hunt. The book chronicles the life of a charisimatic woman leading the life of any plot or subplot that motors any novel you thought was great for intelligent reasons. The reading is magnetic. Her son wrote it with enough vulnerability without sacrificing objectivity. Its better if you were already familiar with the Watergate world and the political climate of the sixties and seventies. That period in history shot from the hip. So does the book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Dorothy Hunt's StoryBy Kay SpaFascinating story about an almost forgotten episode in history. I remember hearing about Dorothy Hunt and the plane crash and didn't understand the reason they kept referring to her having a big stash of cash on her when the plane went down. The scary part is that whoever rigged the crash didn't care about all the other lives that would be lost because of the incident. Worth reading.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Worth reading because of the JFK assination connection.By Lodner 987I just wonder what was supposed to happen on the United 553 Watergate flight. It seems clear the US Government has been corrupt for over 50 years.
