Drawing on Sanskrit and Chinese textual sources; as well as Hindu; Jain; and Buddhist art historical representations; this book traces the conceptual and iconographic development of the riverine goddess of knowledge SarasvatÄ« from some time after 1750 B.C.E. to the seventh century C.E. Through the study of Chinese translations of no longer extant Sanskrit versions of the Buddhist Sutra of Golden Light the author sheds light on SarasvatÄ«'s interactions with other Indian goddess cults and their impact on one another.

I wonder why Barry chose this toy to do a feature on? Could be worse; it could've been on the U.S. version of a dip s*** toy- nemel. Save Your Money...By ShineWhat this toy did to merit his own hardcover book is beyond me. How did this book even get made? There's about five pictures of sloppy; amateur "pieces" and the rest is "artsy" photos of people's feet and faces and tagged up walls. If you actually enjoy hardcore graff and want to see true style; buy Saber's book; Dondi's book; "Burning New York"; or the Montana Writer's Team...but not this. It honestly looks like the work of a twelve year old. Art or vandalism? This is just another embarrassing; unskilled toy trying to get famous.
