It is presented in a terminology form which I found very easy to use.28 of 31 people found the following review helpful. superficial and under-illustratedBy J. StephensI am a professional hairdresser and hairdressing historian. I was terribly disappointed when I opened this book. It has very few useful illustrations; particularly for hair before the 20th c The fact checking was sloppy and there are many factual errors that a lay person would not be able to catch. Heavy reliance on website information reduces one's ability to check facts. Use as bathroom reading only; not as an authority for scholarly work.13 of 15 people found the following review helpful. Hair History ReviewBy no fictiontoo few pictures - good reading - but still wanting more information on the many countries/time periods covered
