The only drawback is you don't get a detailed map of the entire area. There are many small; detailed maps; but it was hard for me to see the big picture until we got there. Get a park service map as soon as you can. There are many; many pictures and lots of helpful info about the area. Keep in mind this is a very large national park and there are 4 visitor centers with different activities available at each of them. If you have limited time to experience this large park; I would recommend the Shark Valley loop...walk it; bike it; or take the tram. Also the Anhinga Trail near the Ernest Coe Visitor center.
