Great workBy Ye Shall Be As GodsI took a class from the authors of this textbook at a Christian seminary and found this to indeed be a helpful book in shaping my thinking as to the application of scripture to my life. It is a high level scholarly work; and was one of those books I had to read very slowly to stay in track with understanding the messages the authors were trying to communicate; so if English isn't your first language you might struggle a bit with this one. I have recommended this book to others who were on the track of utilizing their education towards marriage and family counseling.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This book was helpful in understanding how family was understood ...By Lawrence IngramThis book was helpful in understanding how family was understood throughout the Bible. That it was a series of articles prepared by different authors for the book made it a little uneven; but it was a worthwhile purchase for my collection.
