Field Uniforms of Germany's Panzer Elite

ebooks Field Uniforms of Germany's Panzer Elite by Robert J. Edwards; Michael H. Pruett in History

Description

The text; translated and introduced by James Skillen; was originally a speech by Abraham Kuyper (1837-1920) that opened the first Christian Social Congress in The Netherlands on 9 November 1891. His words not only illuminate with stark simplicity many of the enduring problems of poverty; they also bring a strong and pointed biblical message that has outlived Kuyper's time and place. Roger Henderson's essay "How Abraham Kuyper Became a Kuyperian" is included in the appendix.

Recommend for modelers and those interested in the panzer force uniforms.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Excellent reference toolBy Thomas J. HerlingThose who purchased Pruett and Edwards' "Field Uniforms of German Army Panzer Forces in WWII" will be familiar with the comprehensive nature of this title. In this volume; they cover the "everything else" uniforms of the German armed forces such as the Waffen SS; Afrika Korps and Hermann Goring formations. A wealth of contemporary photographs is supplemented by a color section that features uniforms and insignia owned by collectors. The authors include information that allows one to accurately date the appearance of a particular uniform or feature; and this is backed up by footnoted references. This book is an excellent reference tool for memorabilia collectors; figure painters and anyone who is interested in German uniforms of the Second World War.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
