In July 1863 the bloodiest and most decisive battle of the Civil War was fought near the sleepy town of Gettysburg; Pennsylvania. The author gave brief but very interesting documentation on each First Lady; starting from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama. I enjoyed learning about each lady and how she influenced both her husband; the President of the time; and how she also influenced the White House and Washington DC. Very good book!
