Frederick Douglass in Brooklyn

DOC Frederick Douglass in Brooklyn by Frederick Douglass in History

Description

TWA Flight 800 crashed into the Atlantic shortly after takeoff from JFK airport on July 17; 1996; killing all 230 passengers on board. Although initial reports suggested a terrorist attack; FBI and NTSB investigators blamed a fuel tank explosion. But skeptics have long questioned the official story; and new evidence has surfaced that suggests a widespread conspiracy... In TWA 800; historian Jack Cashill introduces new documents and testimonies that reveal the shocking true chain of events: from the disastrous crash to the high-level decision to create a cover story and the attempts to silence anyone who dared speak the truth.

Review
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Wonderful Collection...By Kisha GreenFrederick Douglass in Brooklyn is a wonderful collection of some of the late great's best speeches. Edited by Theodore Hamm you read each word and line for line it takes you back in time and the words sound so crystal clear because of what was being addressed are things that are problems today. One that stood out for me was the question of what will happen to black people? Will they ever be treated with the respect they deserve? Do Black Lives REALLY Matter? Though provoking and well written and a perfect addition to anyone who is a fan of African American History.
