Nicely illustrated but leaves out a lot of basic detail. I would have liked to see more coverage of what the "average" German infantryman looked like in uniform. Not much need to include the likes of Hitler and his henchmen as there are more than enough photos of them around.What surprised me was the extent to which the Nazis went to dress even prison guards in some fancy uniforms.
