She was so courageous to fight back against widespread injustice in the workplace. So good to know that there are women like her. The treatment of Lilly Ledbetter destroyed her physical health and deprived her and her family of fair remuneration for her herculean efforts to perform her job. An Amazing and Courageous WomanBy Angela LoveI chose to read this book because the topic of Fair Pay for women interested me and I was familiar with the Lilly Ledbetter case. Her courage and persistence impressed me. It is individuals like her who advance worthy causes -- often at great cost to themselves. Her intelligence and obvious abilities helped her advance; but she was treated very unfairly. I just bought 4 new tires; but I would not consider Goodyear.
