The are no links to the chapters as Kindle treats the whole book as just one unit. Much worse for me is the fact that the end-notes don't work as hyperlinks. Usually; when I want to read an end-note; I click on it and it takes me to the note; then I click again and it takes me back to the text. With this book; I have to guess an approximate location for the note; flip to the exact place and; then; do the same process again to get back to where I stopped reading the book. VernonReally interesting; well-researched book. The book is written academically; it is not a story or a fictional tale. It incorporate information from the various religious books as well as historical commentary. You can tell that the author did a lot of research and I learned a lot from her summary of the various stories and interpretations of the story of Abram and his wife.4/5 stars because there is not a lot of information about Hagar. I was hoping it would reveal new information about her; but it does not go very much beyond what is written in the Torah; Quran; and Bible. Most of the book was focused on Sarah and Abraham.However; it was still very interesting.
