Information overload!!!By cThese series of books by Saris are freaking amazing;i dont know where these people (Saris and company) have dug out all this info;its almost like they went back in time;they have information on here about certain units of the NSDAP that were around for one year; some for just months;these Germans were really into their visors let me tell you; i mean Ive known that for years; I'm just reaffirming it right now.These books are not a "is it real or is it fake guide?" they could be used for that as the author gives you measurements and sizes etc that can be used as a guide;also this book is not about "eye candy" there is no big pictures in glossy color of Third Reich "heavies" wearing their bad to the bone visors; this is a indispensable book that you owe yourself to buy (the whole series actually) so you can understand how all this worked with the visors etc.You can get lost real easy reading some chapters because of the amount of info these people have in this book;its mind boggling and i have enjoyed reading them soo much; its almost like a addiction;i must emphasize again that this book is not about "pretty pictures" there are a few books out there ;excellent books actually that have huge pictures of visors in full color;you wont find this here but if you want to become a super knowledgeable collector and know where that visor you have came from and all the variation it went thru before they settled on that one you have; please buy this book; i recommend it!!!
