If you are looking for an in depth analysis of Hindu Realism this would be a good book. I was looking for more Shaivism so I suppose I had unrealistic expectations about this book (Just changed it from 2 stars to three). I found the proofs severely lacking and the arguments unconvincing. So to restate; as a purely academic read; it might be great. As a personal philosophy; there was a lot lacking.
