In Austin Boulevard: The Invisible Line between Two Worlds; Jeff Ferdinand uses Austin Boulevard - a street dividing the suburb of Oak Park; Illinois and the neighborhood of Austin; located on the West Side of Chicago - to illustrate the divide he sees between black and white; rich and poor; privileged and unprivileged. Jeff's personal experiences living on Austin Boulevard has given him a passion to learn about the history of African Americans and race relations in the United States. Using many resources; he has gathered together information to help the reader gain a new perspective on this complex issue and by doing so has given hope to imagine a more tolerant and compassionate America.

A Unique Book in Every Respect!By Yasin T. al-JibouriThis book is truly unique in every respect: If you are looking for a beautiful romantic story; it is in it; the love story of Khadija and Muhammed. If you wish to open a window on the life of the few years that preceded the inception of the Prophetic Mission; this is your book. If you are a history fan; as is the case with its author; this book is full of history. Actually; this is not one but two books combined together: One deals with Khadija; the first wife of the Prophet of Islam (P); and the other deals with another wife; Aisha. The first has not received the exposure; the publicity; the research she deserves; while the other is quite famous. The author has discussed in this book both women so the reader may get the opportunity to compare one with the other. This is an attempt to give Khadija the attention and regard she rightfully deserves.
