Maps for the really hard-core Lewis and Clark FanBy Brad AllenI got this for my Dad who is way into Lewis and Clark (he and Mom have followed the full trail in their RV and he has read every book he can get his hands on). The maps are wonderfully detailed and bring together modern maps with what Lewis and Clark did along the way. The book would make a nice companion to someone who is starting a big Lewis and Clark project but does not really stand on its own. Usually I love books of maps that bring together various aspects of a subject but I just couldn't get into this one.Recommend only for really hard core Lewis and Clark fans who are looking to have a complete library. Buy the series first and then use it as a reference as you read the other thousand books on these remarkable men and travel the trail in your RV.
