I enjoyed it for all of the documents and articles kept from real people during certain eras in our history. Not sure how much of it is accurate or doctored; since its publishing authors are its two editors. Nonetheless; this book brought a little of excitement into my class when paired with my other book.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. RequiredBy NikkiI like the articles because they gave a unique perspective to the Civil War; but I could not get through the essays. Could have just been because I had so much reading to do besides; but this book was harder to get through.
