Megacaust: ‘Death by Government’ The Guilty Ones

ePub Megacaust: ‘Death by Government’ The Guilty Ones by Michael Walsh in History

Description

In the Second World War the Canadian Navy embarked on a five-year anti-submarine offensive with a tiny fleet of six destroyers and a navy largely untrained in submarine warfare. This chronicle of ship successes and losses charts the increase in fighting capability of the Canadian naval forces and their growing success against enemy submarines and surface warships. The information provided in each account represents comprehensive research into the incident from available records and from personal recollections and interviews collected by the authors. This book also contains; for the first time; a complete record of all the Canadian owned Merchant ships lost; as well as a table of RCAF Squadron successes against enemy U-boats.

It reveals what few people understand and what needs to be said. We hear about some tidbit of "fake" news today and are naive enough to think that people everywhere have not been misled and misinformed about the much larger issues affecting entire nations for hundred of years. This has perhaps especially been the case since the rise of modern media. I found the book to be both very informative and very disturbing. I think that this sort of information should be widely disseminated. Some of the lies and misinformation revealed in this book is insidious and of very long duration. There are also certain unfavorable aspects; however; in my opinion. It's a small book of about one hundred pages. For $20; I expected a bit more. An additional criticism concerns the layout of the book. There's an abundance of pictures but many of them are either too small to see the detail clearly; or not adequately identified; or both. Speaking of pictures; did the reader really need to see the naked body and exposed genitals of Liberian tyrant Charles Doe; who was killed at the hands of Liberian tyrant Yormie Johnson; to know that tyrants carry out terrible acts? My biggest complaint; however; is the complete lack of footnotes to identify the sources of what's asserted. I'm not a scholar; and I didn't need a scholarly tome; but some (if not most) of what the author writes is pretty shocking and needs to be referenced. My rating for the various aspects of this book range from 1 to 5 but overall I rate it a 4.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Exposes THE enemyBy becklauAbsolutely horrific when one looks to see what "government" IS TRULY all about. When you open Pandora's Box you see that countless brethren have exposed what really happened through the ages with witness; and proofs but seems all is soon swept into the dust bin of propaganda and media set in place to purposely help all generations to forget. To forget allows our demise now and for generations to come. Today there is mountains of knowledge telling the crimes and sacrifices of our fathers and ALSO tells of an age old enemy; THE wicked ONE. Mr. Michael Walsh is a true hero whose books lets this world know the many crimes of a corrupt governance and surely what is to continue and to come when a peoples forgets who they are and who IS THEIR ENEMY!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Walsh is a treasureBy joshua m. masonThis book should be a must read for students of all grades. My only complaint is that the pictures which I desperately wanted to see were unavailable in the kindle version.
