Ingessana presents the results of field research carried out in the Ingessana Hills area of Sudan; between the White and the Blue Niles; among a people who maintain a proud tradition of cultural independence. The book examines the religious institutions of the Ingessana people; attempting to understand how their history and development has been affected by interaction with powerful neighbours; such as the Islamic Sudanese; Nilotics and Ethiopian groups. The Ingessana have always sought to define this engagement in their own terms and in such a way as to preserve their distinctive identity. The analysis shows how the Ingessana have created a unique religious tradition as part of a wider culture of resistance.

Raiden was disappointingBy Economist43I am a fan of many Osprey and Squadron/Signal publications. This book is of a different ilk. The illustrations are superb; but there is no operational history of the fighter; no recollections or logbook entries by former pilots; nor records of encounters by P-51 or B-29 crews; and only sparse references to squadron and theater deployments. The technical details would be hugely useful to a modeler; but that was not what I was expecting to get.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A great reference guideBy M. HigaA great reference book if you're planning on building the model kit. The illustrated color plates were very good.
