Moon Los Cabos: Including La Paz Todos Santos (Moon Handbooks)

DOC Moon Los Cabos: Including La Paz Todos Santos (Moon Handbooks) by Nikki Goth Itoi in History

Description

In this bestseller; Farley Mowat challenges the conventional notion that the Vikings were the first Europeans to reach North America; offering an unforgettable portrait of the Albans; a race originating from the island now known as Britain. Battered by repeated invasions from their aggressive neighbors—Celt; Roman; and Norse—the Albans fled west. Their search for safety; and for the massive walrus herds on which their survival depended; eventually took them to the land now known as Newfoundland and Labrador. Skillfully weaving together clues gathered from forty years of research; Mowat presents a fascinating account of a forgotten history.

Very few of the great restaurants were mentioned and some that were are no longer in business. The section on Panga fishing actually recommends fishing out of San Jose del Cabo which shows a profound ignorance of that sport. The section on snorkeling is several years out of date. There is much better information online. Save your money.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Yet another great guide from MoonBy Avid ReaderYet another great guide from Moon. Used this for my week in Cabo San Lucas; with a visit to San Jose del Cabo. Spot-on restaurant reviews; and lots of details and guidance for all the activities in the Cabos area. Looking forward to returning one day to explore Todos Santos and La Paz....3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
