Mr. Gorbachev and Mr. Ikeda witnessed first hand the murder and destruction of WWII. They also aptly describe the effects of authoritarian governments on people's personal lives. These men are well educated and can offer insightful lessons based on their life experience.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Moral lessons of the 20th CenturyBy Kristy A. LittlefieldMoral Lessons of the Twentieth Century: Gorbachev and Ikeda on Buddhism and Communism (Echoes and Reflections)This is an amazing exchange between two great men and how even though they came from different backgrounds; they share so much in common. It also shows how important it is that we talk to each other with open minds and find the common ground that connects us rather than the differences that separate us.I would recommend this to anyone who would like to see into the hearts of two World Leaders.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
