NicholsI lived in Phu Bai; RVN in '68/'69 and never saw a flush toilet as claimed in this book. I was with the 1st MIBn; 45th MID/Det E and flew with the 220th RAC (aka the 220th Aviation Co.) from Phu Bai. Outhouses with diesel fuel filled drums were the best we ever had. The 220th's living quarters looked much like ours. Maybe they had flush toilets but I doubt it. In wartime remembrances details matter.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. BiasBy usmarine351I am a bit bias as I am in this book. There are a few sections i find not very accurate. I feel that one individual made himself out to be more; than of a saver than the events tell. Over all this book is right on and well written.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Really a book written primarily from letters written from Vietnam.By D. S. Leak; IIIAll controllers had their medical certificates just like pilots do as well. but they are different in some ways from those for pilots
