This is my third read of "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek;" and I always seem to find a new nugget or favor a different passage. The language; ideas and connections are rich. This classic teaches us what is most important about life and observing nature--show up; open up and be surprised. Poetic; heartfelt and marks the truth about our world and the universe. When I was young I had similar thoughts and observations at our local creek. It was in Maryland so it was geograpically similar to Tinker creek. The difference is that her thinking was/is based in knowlege both first hand and researched. She articulated my feelings in a way that I never possibly could. The book spoke to my soul. Thank you Annie
