In fact though it is a fiction book; the author went into a lot of research to come up with very interresting facts about Pocahontas's life. I expecially appreciated how the author shows God's guidence in her life even when she was yet an unbeliever in Jesus Christ. Indeed the author of this book knew well how a child would think and weaves her ideas into Pocahonta's life very well. Thus young and old readers alike can throughly enjoy this book. In fact; I have been reading this book to my sister in a nursing home and we have been enjoying the book immensely together. Personaly I believe every Christian home with growing children should have this book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Beautifully written. RayMy 6 year old son and I liked this so much that we ended up reading the whole thing in one day. It showed how she lived; what her people believed; the conflicts; and even how she became a Christian. We have been studying early American history in his textbook and have also enjoyed watching Pocahontas from the Nest Family movies. This fit in well. We'll be keeping this book around for his siblings to read later.
