However; for some of the positions presented I sensed a very "strained" effort to provide biblical support. You've come to the right place!By JoshuaWayne Grudem is a very well-respected author in theological circles; and I am glad I now have a reference book that closes the gap between the Bible and current politics. When you skim the TOC; you find discussion of both basic principles; such as talk about the influence Christianity has on government; biblical principles concerning government and a biblical worldview. Then; you have specific analyses of specific issues such as abortion; marriage; the family and so on. I am extremely grateful to have such a reference; so that when I come across an issue that I want the Christian perspective on; I have a good source from which to see what the Bible says. This title intrigued me so much so that I had to give it a try....unfortunately I haven't had a chance to read it but as soon as I do I will let you all know how it was.
