For the non-cognoscenti; Prof. Dugin is one of the major advisors to President Putin on political matters and global geopolitics. He book on the Fourth Way is already a classic. He knows Vladimir Putin well; as well as Russian history; and puts everything in proper context. I have seen him interviewed (Infowars.com) and even in English he is articulate and nuanced. I HIGHLY recommend this book; especially to those who persist in painting Putin as a villain; and Russia as our eternal enemy. This is a preposterous and ignorant point of view. Get educated by the man no one in our military-industrial-congressional complex (that's what Eisenhower wrote originally) wants you to hear. Putin has done much to advance Christianity as a unifying force in Russia--we in the U.S. would do well to see why Russia is not disintegrating; while the West is--as Spengler predicted.4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A really interesting book in order to know how Putin really thinksBy Ricardo AguilarThis is an excellent book that shows how really Putin thinks. We all know Alexander Dugin is the great mastermind in Putin's government. Even if someone doesn't share Putin's policy and foreign affairs; this book is a great resource in order to know how the new Russia is spreading out her circle of influence throughout the world. The basis of Putin's mind is the Erusarian-Empire Project. No one better than Alexander Dugin to lead you in Putin's way of thinking and his resolving-problem strategy.6 of 9 people found the following review helpful. An insiders view of Russian geopolitical agendaBy TOMMY RYDENA very good presentation of the Eurasian case in geopolitics; and some very interesting notes on differences between the Russian political machinery (no think-tanks or major ideological differences for an example) compared to the political culture in the West; altough I object to putting any politician; including the great Vladimir Putin; on a pledestal.
