As a person of Jamaican birth I am happy to know that these books existBy Godfrey SmithThe book is a truly revealing account of the traditional Rastafarian. Rastafarian culture; custom and livelihood is a way of life. It is not for the faint of heart individual. As a person of Jamaican birth I am happy to know that these books exist. At least the ignorant and less informed individuals can become more informed about an important aspect of Jamaican religious life. There was a time in the 70's when some people thought that Rastafari would fade away. Instead it has gotten stronger with the passage of time. Thanks to the increased availability of more books; music and video.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
