Readings for Diversity and Social Justice

ePub Readings for Diversity and Social Justice by From Maurianne Adams in History

Description

This study argues for a radically new interpretation of the origins and evolution of the ethnic Mexican community across the US. This book offers a definitive account of the interdependent histories of the US and Mexico as well as the making of the Chicano population in America. The authors link history to contemporary issues; emphasizing the overlooked significance of late 19th and 20th century US economic expansionism to Europe in the formation of the Mexican community.

Unfortunately it was stolen with all my notes; but a variety of authors talk about different subjects such as white privilege and economic disparity just to name a few. Would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in studying social policy from a variety of perspectives. Many great insights that are affecting the younger generations in our nation today.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
