Great American Revolution History on Lexington; Concord; BostonBy A. TsuyukiThis book is unique in that it covers a decent amount of American Revolution history on Concord Lexington. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boston; MA to view the Freedom Trail. It is worth an extra day to drive out to Lexington Concord and explore the Green at Lexington; and the "Shot Heard Around the World" at Concord. This book not only recounts the events that transpired there; but also those leading up to it and afterward to put them into context of the American Revolution. Reading this book before a Boston trip is well worth the effort. It also covers the Freedom Trail in Boston. The information on the Freedom Trail is adequate; but there are other books with more detail. The descriptions are short enough not to try your patience; yet long enough to provide background and context.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. You need thisBy avidreaderIf you are traveling to these areas as a tourist or just want to read about the area then get this book. I have been to Boston and asked people I pass where certain sites are and had people say theu have lived in Boston all their lives and never been to the patriotic sites. So even more reason to take this book with you
