FordI have been very pleased with and impressed with the quality of Osprey publications. The Campaign series are focused on military campaigns from ancient times through the current era. I have found the books in the Osprey Campaign series to be a great source and frequently the only source for well-researched information on military campaigns especially in the ancient campaigns through early 20th century campaigns.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Staple Resource; Excellent BookBy Jeff WertjesExcellent book. Well written; engaging and informative. Brilliant author who is very true to his scholarship. The only caveat I would place is that the reader should have a modicum of exposure to the conventions of 18th century warfare and a willingness to follow a fluid narrative. The images and maps are the icing on the cake.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy William L Hickmangreat buy
