The information in the book is gleaned from other notable writers of the Civil War; and doesn't provide any new information; only rather a synopsis from those other writings on the same subject - even the photographs used are from those other books. This reads like a class assignment about the Civil War; something with which I am well familiar as I am pursuing an M.A. in History.
