This sequel to Justice and Only Justice is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on events since the Intifada of 1987; including the violence that has come from Israel's aggression and from the use of suicide bombers by Palestinians. The second part of the book draws on scripture; raising up biblical figures such as Samson; Jonah; Daniel; and Jesus as it examines issues of ownership of the land. In the final section; Ateek presents a strategy to achieve peace and justice nonviolently that will promote justice for the Palestinians and security for both Israel and Palestine.

DysonKnowing first hand the effort required to transcribe historical documents; I applaud the editor's accomplishment and the provision of footnotes at each report entry. The defense of Charleston is an often overlooked theater of our Civil War; and these reports from Major Manigault are indispensable to gain an accurate account of troop movements and daily events of that defense. I was especially pleased by the reports that plotted the effects of shots fired during that defense. I believe this book is essential for anyone wanting to understand the Charleston defenses as they somehow held off Union advances until the bitter end.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Served it's purposeBy atibamaniiI am working on some family genealogy at the moment;so I picked up this and Scottish Emigration to Colonial America by David Dobson to get some background on my ancestors.My gg-grandfather is supposed to have been involved in the "Defense of Charleston;" and; in fact; actually disappeared from there never to return home again. Interesting to read a first person account of that time and I found something that requires more research--love research! Most interesting are the numerous accounts of the artillery that; at best simply did not work and; at worst exploded; killing those using it!I'm not certain that anyone would want to read this unless; like me; they have some kind of connection to it; or; again like me; they have a Civil War history jones! Anyway; it served my purpose.
