I first want to say that the date of writing of this title is 1998. That said; I believe the author recently celebrated her 100th birthday at the CIA. I look at the book as a jig-saw puzzle piece to the larger history of both military and intelligence operations of WWII (and beyond). It is non-fiction so is not intended for entertainment. I just appreciate that the author got around to saving information from the period in her 80s.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Story of Amazing Unsung Heroes from The Greatest Generation!By J. MotleyMy mother was a Signal Corps Officer (Cryptography) in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) from 1942-1954; so I found this book to be a fascinating insight into the world that she worked in. Thank you for telling the story of these amazing women from The Greatest Generation!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Four StarsBy JCSI would have preferred more in depth bios as opposed to the many tiny bios.
