Nine times the Church Has Been Fed to the Dogs and Nine Times the Dogs Have Died!By BouquinisteI have been reading and rereading and teaching from this book and I think it is the best intro to church history that I have found. I wish it went into greater depth and I love the pictures which help tell the story. If you are curious about church history; this is the book for you!3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. I would recommend to anyone that would like to know how the church has been; from the beginning; on through the Crusades; the Reformation; the split in the church between the East and West up to the time of Spurgeon. Interesting also to know a little of the history of the Baptists; the reformers; the Methodists and also the persecution of the church down through the ages. All in all; a very informative and easy to read book on our faith.
